Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

The Return Process

The return process is pretty simple.

1. You contact us requesting a return, we will provide you the details and address of where to send the apparels for your country. (Some return addresses accept only specific carries services, which we will mention in the details)

2. Pack the items (could be a sealed bag or a sealed box, even the original bag if you can seal it back, doesn't really matter) and send them to the provided address with the specific carrier service (if applicable). You will have to pay for this shipment also.

3. Once the return got back to us and inspected, we will initiate a refund with the restocking fee and shipping fee applied.

4. That's all. The refund is usually processed within 2 business days, after that, any delays that take place are due to the bank of your credit/debit card processing time.

Restocking Fee Policy

At The Cave, we strive to provide high-quality, custom-made apparel tailored to your selection. In order to maintain the quality of our products and cover the costs associated with returns, we have implemented a restocking fee policy for returned items.

Restocking Fee Details:

  • A restocking fee of 40% of the original purchase price will be applied to all returned items.
  • This fee is intended to cover the costs of production, handling, and processing associated with returned items.
  • The restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount issued for the returned item.

Exchanges:

  • Exchanges for a different size or color will be treated as new orders. The customer will need to place a new order for the desired item. The restocking fee will apply to the returned items, and the order will be partially refunded after the customer places the new order. Alternatively, we can offer store credit for half the value of the products that need to be exchanged. Not using the credit for the purpose intended will result in the cancellation of the order

Exceptions to the Restocking Fee:

  • The restocking fee may be waived in cases where the returned item is defective, damaged, or has any other problems.
  • We reserve the right to waive the restocking fee at our discretion in certain circumstances.

How to Initiate a Return:

  • To initiate a return and request a refund, please contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving your order.

Refunds

*shipping costs are not refundable. Also you will need to pay the shipping cost when returning the apparel to us

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. 

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@thecaveapparel.com.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

European Union 14 day cooling off period exemption

At The Cave, we take pride in creating unique, made-to-order apparel that is crafted specifically for each customer. Due to the customized nature of our products, our brand is not subject to the EU 14-day cooling-off period, which allows for returns of pre-stocked goods.

Please note the following key points regarding our return policy:

  1. Made-to-Order Apparel: All items sold by The Cave are produced upon order. As such, they fall under the exemption from the EU’s 14-day cooling-off period, which applies to goods that are personalized or made to a customer’s specifications.

  2. Non-Stocked Products: We do not hold stock of our apparel, meaning each item is made exclusively for the customer based on their selected size, design, and preferences. This makes returns or exchanges due to the 14-day cooling-off period inapplicable.

  3. Returns and Exchanges: While we are unable to accept returns or cancellations due to the 14-day cooling-off period, we are committed to ensuring the quality of your product. However if you want to make a return, there will be fees involved as stated above.

    If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order, and we will gladly assist with a replacement or solution.

  4. Exemptions: This policy is in line with EU consumer law, which provides exceptions for made-to-order and personalized products.
